Are you looking to make a difference?

5 May 2026

Looking to make a real difference with minimal time commitment? We’re seeking a Treasurer to support our charity for just one hour a week. This flexible role suits someone organised and reliable who wants to give back to their community. You’ll oversee simple finances, help keep records accurate, and ensure transparency, with full handover and support provided. No prior charity experience is required—just basic confidence with numbers and a willingness to help. Your contribution will directly support our mission and make a tangible impact. A small commitment, a big difference.

Are you bored on Thursdays?

1 May 2026

If Thursdays feel dull, Junior Sea Cadets turn boredom into adventure. You’ll try sailing, rowing, first aid, teamwork, and leadership in a relaxed, friendly setting. Each session offers practical skills, confidence building, and the chance to make new friends who enjoy being active and curious. Cadets learn discipline without pressure, discovering responsibility while still having fun. You don’t need experience, fitness, or long-term commitment, just enthusiasm and willingness to try. Thursdays suddenly become something to look forward to, filled with challenges, laughs, and achievements that extend well beyond the evening.

We have spaces for Junior Cadets aged 9-11 on Thursdays now.

Call in and see us or drop us a message on our get in touch page.
