During 2025 an impressive 127 qualifications were achieved and 23 promotions were awarded to cadets. Their commitment to the unit is outstanding and they should be incredibly proud of their achievements, and we are also very grateful to all parents and carers for their continued support over the years. Here’s to an equally-successful 2026!

Remembrance Day
11th November marked the Remembrance Day Parade, a day to honour those lost in past conflicts. The cadets represented the unit excellently by marching in the Parade alongside the armed forces as well as other cadet forces. Their uniforms and attitude were impeccable, and they did a brilliant job of remaining attentive and focused during the long event.
Poppy Appeal
At the end of October cadets attended the British Legion’s Poppy Appeal in King’s Lynn ahead of the upcoming Remembrance Day Parade, raising money for serving personnel as well as veterans. It was a great first day of campaigning, and the cadets’ involvement in public and armed forces events highlights their dedication to local matters. Well done to those who attended for helping the launch run smoothly.
Royal Naval Parade
The 21st October was our annual RNP, where officers from the Sea Cadets and even the Navy visited to inspect the cadets and the unit. The cadets did us proud by answering questions confidently and showing off what they have been learning in classes, and parents and siblings even got involved. I‘d like to thank everyone who showed up and supported us; it means a lot to see those seats filled!
Unit Annual Review
25 September 2025Thursday was our Unit Annual Review, where the District Officer visited the unit to inspect the cadets and the running of the unit. This event is very important for us as it contributes towards our chances of achieving a burgee. The cadets did an excellent job of responding to the DO’s questions, and with a couple of notes to improve for our next inspection, we will be well on our way to accomplishing top marks!
