Salisbury Armed Forces Day 2025

Salisbury Armed Forces Day 2025

Another busy day for TS Salisbury on a busy weekend. Today we had great fun at Armed Forces Day in Salisbury City Centre. It was great to see so many people, especially the public and those from other organisations and Cadet Forces.

We also had a visit from our new Unit Chairperson, UMT members, and Parents and Supporters Association members, who all came along to help and support our Cadets and Cadet Forces Adult Volunteers.

If you are interested in joining the unit, we are actively recruiting! Please follow the "Get in touch" tab on this website to get in contact with us.

Amphibious Skills

Amphibious Skills

Tonight our Royal Marine Cadets have been practising the skills that set them apart from the Army and Air Cadets; amphibious skills!

As part of this exercise, they had to perform a river crossing at our unit, waterproofing all equipment within their bergen, traversing the river, and then continuing with activities in their dry kit.

Unit Annual Camp 2025

Unit Annual Camp 2025

It’s a wrap. What a great week with great company. We had all the weather: rain, wind, mist, sunshine, warmth, and cold. Cleavel Point is a special place for TS Salisbury, and this was our 49th Annual Camp here.

We accomplished 40 Sailing, Windsurfing and Campcraft qualifications, plus a mixture of about 100 CTP modules (waterborne activities, seamanship, and recreational activities)
