Cadets and staff from across Surrey District had the fantastic opportunity to visit HMS Prince of Wales.  Whilst onboard they visited many areas of the ship including the main bridge and flyco (flight control).  They were amazed by the size of the flight deck and the hangar and had the opportunity to ask lots of questions to learn more about the ship

This weekend 11 of our cadets and 3 staff took part in the first District training weekend of the year.  Cadets learnt skills in First Aid, Seamanship, Catering and Peer Education.

Today the whole Unit supported the annual Remembrance Parade and wreath laying in Caterham to commemorate and remember the service and sacrifice of servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts.  

The cadets' high standards of uniform and respectful conduct received well-deserved recognition

Once again, cadets and staff have been working hard to support the Royal British Legion poppy appeal, spending 2 days in Caterham shopping centre selling poppies and raising over £1,700

Cadets had a once in a lifetime experience taking part in the Trafalgar Day and Royal Marine 360 Year Anniversary parade finishing inside Windsor Castle

All the cadets had worked very hard on their drill and uniform and we are very proud of them all
