On Sunday 22nd December, Fishguard Sea Cadets took part in the Annual Community Christmas Carol Service, and as always looked very smart. The Cadets helped with the Collections and the Traditional Procession of the 3 Wise Men etc. They all looked very smart!

Fishguard Sea Cadets are delighted to announce that for the 29th year running we have been awarded a Burgee. This is the Highest Efficiency Award that can be awarded to a Unit. We would like to congratulate the Cadets, Volunteers, UMT and P&SA on their hard work in 2019. There is so much effort goes in to making sure that Fishguard Sea Cadets remains as on e of the best Units in South West Area.

Unofficial Area Officers Visit

Unofficial Area Officers Visit

On Tuesday 3rd December we had an unofficial visit from South West Area Officer Commander Nigel Morton RN. He wanted to come to the unit and present Cdt Liah Williams with a Commanders Commendation in light of Liahs First Aid Actions on the roadside in a recent Motorcycle Accident were Liah rendered First Aid, and Commander Morton commended her actions. He also took the opportunity to present some Nicas Climbing Awards and Badges to the cadets and also the Commissioning Scroll to our Commanding Officer. He also presented our Unit Chairman Chris Burge with a Certificate and badge to acknowledge 30 years of service. He spent the evening talking to cadets and staff and it was lobvely to spend an informal evening with him.

The Unit participated in Remembrance Services in Fishguard, Goodwick and St Davids.

SS St Patrick Memorial

Sea Cadets from Fishguard along with local Army Cadets and Scouts all took part in this annula service, which commemorates the Sinking of the St Patrick during the 2nd World War. The cadets did an amazing job once again and looked very smart.

The voyage from  Fishguard to Rosslare and return involes stopping over the wreck location for a Brief Service.

We would like to thank all our volunteers for looking after you, and for Stena Line for looking after us so well.
