Tomos awarded CIS Advanced Radio

SW Area Training Week
2 August 2019Cadets from Fishguard went away for a week of Training on the South West Area Summer Camp. We had 3 cadets on this week along with Mid Shipman Mustoe teaching CIS Intermediate
Gabriel Bingham passed his RYA Power Level 2 Qualification
Kieran Randall passed his Rowing Coxswain Qualification and
Chris Harries passed his CIS Intermediate Radio Qualification.

Area Sail Success for Amelia
Over the weekend of 26th - 28th of July the Area Sailing Competition was held at Tata Lake, Port Talbot. Fishguard had two entries in for the Topper Class representing West Wales. After some difficult conditions on both days, we ended up with following results in the Junior Topper Class.
Amelia Grant Jones - Bronze
Gabriel Bingham - 6th.
Really well done to both for their participation at the event.
Annual Buddy Night
Friday 19th July saw our Annual Buddy Night. A little later than previous years. We ended up with 5 buddies. 3 of which remained, so a good success rate. The buddies did all sorts of activities and games and hopefully will spread the word.
