One more for the trophy cabinets, well done and keep it SHINY!
Part of a weekend of Drill Instruction at Sheffield Unit, was the training of a Colour Party, for entry to next weeks - District Drill Competition.
The Cadets learned fast, and picked up the routine quickly in such a short time, youve done so well this weekend all, and to repaet what we all keep saying - be proud of yourselves!
As well as the instructional staff (shown) was the ever dedicated efforts from other staff and parents, thanks to all for supporting the Ships Company, upwards 'SHINY SHEFF'
As part of a weekend of remembrance, last night Petty Officers Ford-Mitchell and Smith attended High Bradfield's service with a selection of cadets from TS Sheffield.
Inside, reservist Michelle gave a talk about being awarded the Queen's Volunteer Reserves Medal, handed to only 13 reservists every year for exemplary conduct.
The church was beautifully lit up with a huge projection of a poppy field. Which can be seen across the valley.
Thanks to everyone who came, and to all in the country who are remembering the sacrifices paid by the Armed Forces at this time.
