Curry Night & Quiz Fundraiser

Curry Night & Quiz Fundraiser

On 14th June 2013 a curry night was held at the Unit as a fundraising event.  Guests were welcomed by an array of starters set out upon brightly decorated tables, it didn't take long for the room to fill up.  Next came the delights of various curries and rices to choose from, people were spoilt for choice so most ended up having a taste of each. The meal was finished off by a colourful display of fresh fruit kebabs.  Compliments to the chefs for the fabulous food.

This night also held a special birthday suprise for one of our staff members as Dan was presented with a birthday cake.  Many Happy Returns.  This was followed by a raffle with lots of prizes on offer and then to a quiz which put us all to the test.  A very good time was had by all who attended.

A very big thank you to go to the chefs of the evening - Yvonne, Shabana, Lisa and Usha.  Also to Dave for sorting out and comparing the quiz and to those who donated raffle prizes including the City Hall for donating two tickets for a show and Clowne Test & Repair Centre for a free MOT service.  We manged to raise £267.
