Friends of the Sea make Donation to St Helens...

Wednesday 3rd May 2017, our Commanding Officer & Training Officer alongside some of our Ships Company attended an event held by the Friends of the Sea. During the presentation, the Friends Of The Sea have donated us a cheque for the amount of £250 to go towards a new Teaching Laptop.
The cheque was presented by Rob Owen (Former-Chairman UK North Blind Sailing Association). We would like to thank the Friends of the Sea for their generous donation

Gang Show St Helens 2017

On Thursday 27th April 2017, our Cadets showed their support for SGT (SCC) C Trotter at the local Gang Show Performance.

A Gang Show is a theatrical performance by youth members of Scouts and Guides. Some Gang Shows have leaders of Scouts and Guides on stage too. The aim is, through performance, to empower young people to make a positive contribution to society.

SGT Trotter is a Leader for a local group and has worked hard rehearsing for the past several months.

Congratulations to SGT Trotter for a successful performance and to our cadets for their support.

Soroptimists International St Helens make...

We would like to thank the Soroptimists International St Helens for their kind donation of £1,000.

Our Commanding Officer A/SLt (SCC) A Bull RNR recently accepted the cheque on behalf of the Unit.

The money donated will be used to improve the training we offer to our cadets and assist with course fees to ensure the cadets make the most of the external opportunities available to them.

Bag Pack at Marks & Spencers raises funds for...

On Saturday 22nd April 2017, Cadets and Adult Volunteers bag packed at Marks & Spencer's St Helens and raised a massive amount of £315.93 Thank you to all who attended and of course to those who donated.
