On Friday evening, TS Weston proudly hosted our Annual Awards Night, celebrating the achievements and commitment of our cadets throughout the year. Bravo Zulu to all of this year’s award recipients—your dedication continues to inspire us all.
We were honoured to welcome Commodore Robert Mansergh MBE MA, RBL County President and President of Weston Sea Cadets & Royal Marines Cadets, as our Inspecting Officer for the evening.
Several cadets who recently took part in the Drumhead Service at Wells Cathedral for the Festival of Remembrance were also formally recognised. They were presented with certificates by Mike Allison, County Chairman of the Royal British Legion.
During the event, Rob Bywater, Chairman of the Royal British Legion Weston-super-Mare Branch, reaffirmed our long-standing affiliation. This important relationship was originally formalised in 2010 and was symbolically re-signed on the night, highlighting the continued support between our organisations.
