Leading Cadet Huw Jenkins has been appointed as Lord Lieutenant's cadet for 2017. This is a huge honour for any cadet and is granted to those cadets if successful for their outstanding commitment to Sea Cadets and their contribution over many years. Huw has been an outstanding cadet and we are delighted that he has been selected for this honour. He is pictured receiving his badge of office for 2017 with the Lord Lieutenant of Dyfed Sara Edwards. Huw will accompany her on official engagements for the next 12 months. The presentation took place on Thursday 2nd March at the Ivy Bush Hotel, Carmarthen hosted by the Reserve Forces and Cadets Association. Previous Lord Lt Cadet for 2016 Petty Officer Cadet Charlie Mustoe also received his certificate for an outstanding year in office, where he attended a number of official functions, including meeting HRH Prince Charles. Charlie is thanked for the outstanding way in which he represented the Sea Cadets and in particular Fishguard Unit.
