As a result of Fishguard's success at this years District Competition, we then went through to the Area Competition at HMS Raleigh in the Unarmed Competition representing West Wales. The Team did very well and should all be very proud of themselves.

The Unit won the Unarmed Drill at this Years District Drill Comp in February and this year for the First Time Juniors were allowed to take part and they came a very credible 3rd, for such a small team. A great result once again.
The Unit had another successful weekend in Training with over 35 Cadets attending and lots of qualifications gained.
Here are some of the Cadets receiving their Badges and Certificates

On Monday 25th January the Lord Lieutenant Awards for Dyfed ceremony took place at the Ivybush Hotel Carmarthen. Fishguard Sea Cadets was fortunate to have LC Michael collect his Certificate for his Service as Lord Lt Cadet for 2015, and LC Charlie collected his Badge as he had been nominated and selected as Lord Lt Cadet for 2016. Very well done to both

Fishguard Sea Cadets recently took part in the Area 5 A Side Football competition, held at Bentham Country Club, Gloucester on the 23rd January. We had a Junior Girls Team and a Senior Boys Team. The Senior Boys Team came 6th overall and the Junior Girls came 3rd, winning a Bronze Medal.
