Cadets and staff accepted the challenge to collect presents for a liverpool charity that supports homeless mums and children throughout the year. Inspiration led to the ( operation Christmas ) call from district volunteer Jean Cooney from Liverpool West Derby Unit. Jean also helped raise a fantastic 230 pound in October to help cadets on an away day to the croxteth trail in Chester. Staff and cadets were overjoyed when they got a chance to assist her with her operation.
