And more information!
And more information!
Today 10 cadets had great fun Paddling down to Bray and back, honing their skills, before heading up to Boulters Lock for lunch, and some more fun - a bit of cross stream action Plus a few celebrity houses spotted on our paddle too, along with rowers, anglers, paddle boarders and a grass snake.... all before we cleaned down.
A long day - but a great day!
It’s great to be back isn’t it?
Last night, sadly, we had to say goodbye to Lt Cdr (SCC) Andy Grainge RNR, who is leaving Maidenhead Sea Cadets.
Andy has been an excellent addition to the Unit over the past 4.5 years as we have developed to be a strong, stable, fun and exciting place for young people to come and enjoy their Sea Cadet experience.
However, we recognise that there are other Units within
that are in desperate need of support, and Andy will be pivotal in providing that.
Good Luck, Thank You and hope to see you again soon xx
Who else is excited about coming to the Unit tonight?
We will be having some of our cadets going Rowing, Canoeing, Yoling and maybe one or 2 in our Powerboats.
The Juniors will be doing Map Reading with our very own Gold D of E Award achiever!
Don't forget to adjust your kit for the weather and come prepared!
Lots to look forward to - it's great to be back isn't it?
